No. Everything check out as far as the troubleshooting goes. One concern is the battery voltage, it is only showing about 10 volts. So I am getting a new battery and new front tire.

I'm looking for someone to ride down with IF I can get off on Friday.  Should know tomorrow.  Went down 69 last year to Galveston, and across on the ferry.  It was a nice ride, and didn't have to go through/around Houston.

Hey Flyboy,
Planning on leaving NM Thursday, making it down to Texas Ranger's and leaving there Friday morning.  Planning to take back roads, hate the interstate.  Let's try to hook up if possible, if not see you there.    Smiley

Hey Lemondrop,
Check the post from Flyboy, would love to be able to hook up with you somewhere.  Check with Texas Ranger, I'm just along for the ride.   Grin

I think we are going to try a westerly route down this year. Roper, Kevin Stowers, will be in the lead this time since he has made the trip before. We will have 4 in our group. Lemondrop you are welcome to ride along with us, and if we can hook up with Bandit and TR, then all the better. Grin

This is the route that Kevin sent me. This is a copy of his email to me.

Issues :
I 35 from Hillsboro to Mid Waco is to be AVOIDED !!!!  Due to construction - TRUST ME!!!!

That said -
I have ridden 6 ALL the way and it is ok. Nice the further SOUTH ya get. Especially so past
Marlin.

In my opinion 77 was a ENJOYABLE ride down from Lott to Rockdale - Milano cut over to 36 into Brenham from there I have cut over to Hempstead on 'other trips'...

So, the 1st half / north part is the real issue if we want to consider a more central  route.
I can tell ya it take 6 hr at 70 mph avg to go up either 6 or 77 from hempstead to my house with gas stops etc.

Meaning IF we are to consider a TOUR of Blue Bell ( I do not even know if that is doable ? )
we need to allow at least an hour there for gas, food, tour etc.

thanks, if angie & her beau rides with me, they probably wanna ride straight down, but if not i may give ya a holler.

since 35 sounds bad, it looks like cutting off 45 at corsicana on 14 is not bad, it runs right into 6.

The Bluebonnets kinda suck this year so far...been through there several times in the cage the past few weeks....ig ya want to avoid Houston from that way ya might try 36 from Brenham all the way to Freeport...then 332 into Galveston...soz

Kevin and I are still working on the route. If we can be in Brenham (sp) by 2:00 then we can take a 45 minute tour and get some samples. I am thinking that I may leave here about 5:30-6:00am, so we can miss the rush hour thru Dallas. Will probably meet Kevin and Jorge in Midlothian and eat breakfast there and then depart from there.
