Charlie sent me an email saying the FB Event link was bad.  Hopefully I have fixed it.

Facebook has some funky stuff going on with the linking stuff... I will try to figure out how they do things.

Mary... do you still have crystal blue?  I have yet another buddy looking for a Valk in Kansas.

Okay... that is the best I can do.  Facebook is a "Walled Garden" and it appears that if you are not a member and are not logged in, the FB Events page I posted is not available.

Of course, it could just be that I grew up too close to the Brio refinery superfund clean-up site over off of Dixe Farm Road there on the south side of Houston.  They say that many folks from around those parts have suffered drain bammage... but it has set senmd ed to affcet me yet.  Iamh pervfectly finse.

None the less all that is just FB chatter... the registration page and most of the details are at the Culleynet address.... at my host.

Wait wait... hold the phone... I saw art today from our compadre' in NM for T-shirts.  That may be coming too.

Now... any suggestions for how to handle meals?

Mary... sent pics of Crystal Blue to Kansas today...

Somewhere in storage, I think I still have a full set of keys to the buidings at the Brio site - we serviced the locks on the buildings there both before and after it was "condemned".

Dwayne... I never did hear any follow ups on the repair of your hydrolock issue.  Did you get that cleared up?

Hoping things go smooth...  the registration page is beginning to heat up... thus far eleven riders and a few passengers.  There are a few folks who live there in NM that will probably be riding in for the day here and there.

TEXAS RIDERS: General consensus is most want to meet in Kerrville Friday evening for an early ride out the following AM.

I am likely to be staying at the Super 8 at exit 508. (Sydney Baker)  It's really a pretty nice place and they have breakfast.  I was able to get a group rate of 69.99. The danged manager was sticking to his guns on the rate.  However, I am a member of their customer loyalty program and went online through them to book and got my room for $54.00.  Go figure??  Anyway... here's where I am staying:

http://www.super8.com/hotels/texas/kerrville/search-results?partner_id=&Available_property=false&campaign_code=&checkout_date=03%2F09%2F2013&children=0&useWRPoints=false&ratePlan=BAR&teens=0&affiliate_id=&searchWithinMiles=&PriceFilter=0-2147483647&perpage=15&brand_code=BH%2CDI%2CRA%2CBU%2CHJ%2CKG%2CMT%2CSE%2CTL%2CWG%2CWY%2CPX%2CWT%2CWP%2CPN&content=false&iata=&adults=1&checkin_date=03%2F08%2F2013&radius=25&rooms=1

There is one of those big monster Shell stations across the street... I figure that is as good of place as any to meet, fuel up and ride out the following morning.

Gotta fly...

Travis, I am still hoping to make this ride.

Have not made any reservations as yet.

Still waiting on getting my bags back from painter.  Getting very frustrated.

However, I do believe that I have my wife's blessing 'kitchen pass' arranged, if I can only get the bags back and mounted.

Travis, I just registered for the ride.  Can't remember if I did it before or not, but now I am in.

Is there posted a list of attendees anywhere?

Looking forward to it.  Let's Ride!

Bike looks crappy (paint job) but back together and am riding it for now.

Got in 700 miles last weekend.

Alrighty... I was trying to link to that page directly from the Goldwing Forum... that may have hot linking disabled... I yoinked the image and hosted it at my own site.

Also, I received the patches my sister made up yesterday... they turned out pretty nice.

Hope this helps...

I am headed out in the morning to meet other riders in Kerrville before heading on up to Las Cruces, NM for the Texas Horned Toads 2013 Spring Break ride.

Should have a few Valkyrie riders along and looking forward to seeing them again.

Yeah!  Road Trip!!!!  Maybe I can get close to 3,000 miles in the next week.
