I'd be happy to trade some of this sunshine for some rain...it would cool it down around here, supposed to be in the mid 90's and we ain't even hit July yet

We had 4.6 inches of rain yesterday am ....here a pic of our softball field.  There is no stream or pond nearby ...all this is runoff water

Don't start me on rain!!

little while ago we had 330mm (11inches) over night, further north they had 450mm (18inches) they had many slips and a few houses were comdemned as the hillside slipped. Here in Whangarei we were just lucky the rain didn't come at high tide as much of the CBD is on reclaimed land and the water would have had nowhere to go.

But right now it is a crystal clear crisp winter's day. Temp was 3 deg C when I got up this morning and is around 11 deg C at lunchtime. I love this kind of weather.

Been clear as can be for weeks now.  No rain in sight.  You're more than welcome to come and get some of this blazin' hellish heat and soup for air that we've been havin'.  There are reports of people and pets spontaneously combusting.

I was riding my Valk home from work yesterday and I was......SWEATING.    ???     The windshield has since been taken off...but I'm not sure if that would even help in this sweltering sauna.

Right now, I'd trade this heat and humidity for some nice mid 40's at night and some cool/dry 60's/70's during the day.   Cool

Uh......I know it's the beach and all, but is there any other significance to the puddle right under Miss Rebel there?

Hey Buddy look at the bright side.

You may have to postpone the softball game but now you have somewhere to hold a bass tournament.

Fishing's no good when the Greenbrier's up...  cooldude

We got over an inch in the rain barrel last night... our lakes are full and our
drought is officially over... It will be a long time before I will be able to complain
about rain...
