Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: June 18, 2009, 09:03:38 PM »

I met up with Hard6 this morning about 7:30 and we went north bound and down and now The Magical History Tour is on it's way! Man, was it ever HOT today!!!! I did about 560 miles and JP did an additional 50-60 miles and we rode all day in 100 deg temps....Poo-Yie! Major hot. Ride wasn't bad until about noon or so. The temps were the only thing bad, because JP and I were in sync and the ride itself was AWESOME!!!!

Left out of Lafayette, Louisiana and went I-10/I-12 to Slidell and then I-59 up through Mississippi to Meridian....Stopped in Laurel, Mississippi to the Smokehouse for lunch.

Folks, the food was awesome and cheap. Got the rib plate and drinks and it was like a ten spot.

The main thing was did my riding partner find the food ok??????

Ummmm...think the face says it all. A tad bit of meat on each one of those ribs!

Nothing like eating some ribs and getting back into 100 deg heat for the rest of the day!

Rode over to Birmingham, Alabama and up to Cullman to visit with Winghot at the Cullman Downtowm Grill.....

Another hour and we are in Guntersville, Alabama - on Lake Guntersville. Plan is tomorrow to go up to Chattanooga, Knoxville and into Lexington, Va.

The ride is on and life is good!!!!!!!!!!

We got two coonasses going to see stuff they ain't never seen before!!!!!!

I oughta whoop you two boys... I can't believe you were RIGHT HERE and I didn't know it.

I know how it is though, you were "on the fly". God's speed to the both of you and hope you have a safe and informative trip and don't get into too much trouble. Tell your rib eatin' friend that I said hello! Ride Safely!
