Been in TX now almost a month.  Frisco for the NDSU Championship, then over near New Braunfels.  Down to Corpus Christie for a week.  About a week down near MacAllen and over to S. Padre Island for three days.  Now, up at Medina.

We were going to go over to Beaumont/Houston area after Frisco, but was raining cats and dogs at the time there.  Now,t here will be no time, need to be home in a few days.  Was going to hook up with Red Diamond, but will not have time.  Cry

Am staying at the Hill Country RV Resort, just out of Medina, per ideas on this board.

I have heard you'all talking about the three sisters.  I see three sisters mentioned around here, but no idea EXACTLY where they are?

Can all you great TX riders help me out?

Thanks!

MP

OK!  Thanks mario.

I was thinking three sisters was three passes, it is three roads.  Great info.

Hope you enjoy the Three Sisters!  A nice place to stop is the Rio Frio Motorcycle Stop just west of downtown Leakey (pronounced "lakey") on 337...

Too bad the weather didn't cooperate MP, was looking forward to seeing and riding with you, maybe next time out. You're going to love the "Three Sisters" ride. Have fun, and a safe trip back home.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

We rode the three sisters today.  CP in the sidecar, Nate on behind me, our 5 yr old grandson, and piloted by myself.  We have three helmets all hooked up to the intercom, so all of us can talk to each other.

The Pit Stop looked to be closed.  All doors shut, no vehicles there at all.

Good riding.  Hit a few showers, but not bad.

Wish I had been able to get to Houston area, but did not work out.

We are hoping next year to be down south TWO months, instead of one!
