Hellz bellz-iffin it were ONLY a pie auction it would fer real and fer certain be WORTH it.  2funny BUT as i found out last year-nice folks to ride with talk with share meals with and yes share an adult beverage with.   And GOD forbid-yer bike should break down-you WILL have more tools more spare parts and more help than you could ever imagine. And NOT to throw a wet blanket on this-you simply WILL NOT believe or understand just how QUICKLY 5 days are GONE.  Cry If you have never been-GO-and if you have gone-yer champin at the bit zackly like i are.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Just a dumb ass question.
I assume the money given to the charity comes from monies collected for entrance...poker runs, 50/50 etc...that means that those fees are actually donations and are tax deductible...correct?

JP

PS...Special Olympics are a very worthwhile organization.

Actually, whether or not the VRCC is a charity is not the issue in tax deductability.  Anytime you get something or have a chance of winning something for your "donation" it is not tax deductible.  Raffles, 50/50s, auctions, etc.  are not tax deductable no matter who runs them.

The registration fees are used to pay for the things included in registration and other event costs.

I fixed it for you, Connie.  Thank you and that was an accurate and needed clarification.

I noticed we are just short of 35,000 members(of course many are no longer with us for one reason or another), and we only have 163 currently signed up for Inzane. If you've never been to one, sign up and see what you've been missing. I'd hate to think that these might come to an end in the near future. It's up to us to turn out and support the VRCC.

We're definitely in tough financial times, but if you can swing it, it's money well spent for a week of fun, laughs and good fellowship. See you there!

Smiley This is actually a BUMP back to page 1. However, while I have your attention....yes I'm counting the days for this event. Doing a little map research working on my route north. LaCrosse is a bit over fifteen hundred miles from my home in Tampa on the superslab, and don't want to be on it more than I need to. With good weather (expected) five or six hundred miles a day would be a nice cruise. I'm having a custom Coyote tank made so I'm hoping to get pretty close to a 300 mile range between fillups, not that personal breaks arn't more frequent. With summer sun, starting early, 10 to 12 hours of riding each day will be great!
While my 98' Tourer is right at only 30k I'm replacing, dampers, bearing mod, going darkside, front tire, stainless lines, pingel, Dan Marc, aux lighting, 4 ways, and the check list continues.
Been doing routine service on my 98' 1100 Aero and will start on the Valk  work as soon as the rest of my parts come in.
Planning a trip in early May down to Flamingo, Florida as a test run with the aux tank and new darkside change over. If the question should arrise, no, there is nothing in Flamingo other than it's way down south, "it's the journey, not the destination", it's been said many times.
Bump complete!
Have a great day and ride safe.

Just a few things here,  You will not be able to book a room at GROUND ZERO (DAYS INN) online.

You must call GROUND ZERO to book a room there.

http://www.valkyrieriders.com/inzane/InZane13/ground-zero.html

You will need your INZANE 13 registration number to book a room

If you are a Valkyrie Board guest and not a registered poster, You can sign up to go to INZANE 13
