Can anyone tell me a supplier for "shorter" risers? I'd like too shorten them a couple of inches. Right now they measure about 3" from the base to the center of the bars. Has anyone just cut them off and re-tapped them? I would assume they are the same as some other bikes out there, I just ran out of time to measure the bar diameter and check the bolt size. Thanks a bunch!!

I haven't seen shorter risers.  I suppose you could cut them off, but be sure it's a good square cut.  It's a metric bolt.  I believe 12 mm.  I'm not sure of the handle bar size, but risers for 1" bars will work with the OEM bar.  I installed risers that required 1/2" bolts, so just had to drill out the triple tree mounting plate a little.

You might want to check out other handbar options......such as "beach" bars that would be at a lower height.
