Looking to do some rear maint on my 98 Standard and looking to replace the shock bushings.
Thought about going with the VTX ones and here is what I found doing a search on "VTX, Bushings"
Honda new green bushing no. 52489-HN0-671
Does this include both the top and bottom bushing?
And what year and modle VTX should I be referencing when I go to purchase?

ANy more knowledge would be appreciated.

TIA
GreggH.

Unless the bottom bushings also look worn, buy two to replace the top ones. If you give the dealer the part number, they don't need the year and model.

Are the top and bottom bushings the same part number?

Yes.  I couldn't tell the bottoms were shot until I had the shock off.  They're cheap.  My dealer doesn't stock them, took a couple of days to come in.  So buy all 4 and do it once.

I confirmed the part number you gave with the one on the bag that I saved.  They come in quantities of 1.
