OEM grip removal
«

Removed clutch side cap..grab with channel-locks (gently so as not to marr ends) twist and pull. They have small ears that slide over and into rubber notches in the grip end.

Channel locks, really? On a wimpy plastic piece. The clutch side one always just popped off by hand maybe even too easily. The throttle side unscrews, dont clamp onto that one

Slide screwdriver between grip and handlebar , insert spray tube from Liquid Wrench (or WD40) . Spray and let set for a minute or so..then simply twist grip off (if they didn't go crazy with the glue) . Mine came off easy !

Throttle side is similar , but the end cap simply "un-screws".Insert screwdriver between grip and plastic throttle tube , insert spray tube from Liquid Wrench or WD40 and spray. Let sit a minute or so then twist grip off. It may be necessary to slide the screwdriver around inside the grip to loosen it.

Smoothe jaw (no-mar) Channel-locks work best...guess you could use your teeth too..but as I said "gently" so as not to marr the finish..unless you aren't saving them..then who cares ?Fudgie says they make a great key-fob !?
