Hi Jeff, I just added Interstate bags and stole some new bag guard/rails for under $200.00 on Evil-bay. I added some other bling items, lower tripple tree cover a "new" Rattlebars kickshifter which I since removed. I'm up in the air on this. My floorboard heal-toe shifter fit my big feet better and was more comfortable with better foot placement on longer rides. Now I put my Kurry pegs back on with the stock shift "nub" and its really the most positive tight shifting. I may sell off all that other stuff? Wow $800.00 in footpegs and shifter and floorboards and I went back to stock? I also installed a new Clearview windshield. That's coming off too, I'm ordering a new "shorty" like the one I had before. I prefer looking over my shield. I got some fork wraps from LadyDraco, painted the bike and did all my fluids, rear drive, cleaned up some electrical contacts, found the short that has been bothering me for years, my fault bad ground. Gosh I think thats it? oh new brakes. I basically had time to go through her pretty well while the tins were out at the painter.

Grumpy and I were talking of a good lunch ride destination located North East of I-4. I can't remember the location, I will get with him. Good riding weather is here and it would be good to meet the new faces riding Valkyries.

Nice hearing from you Doug. Wondered what you had been up to on the bike update. That maintenance is worth keeping up with (Thanks Bill  cooldude ) I just ordered a new windshield like Bill's. I will be just looking over it by about an inch and it's 5" wider and "SEE THRU". My OEM shield is just shot to hell. Would love to get together with y'all over your way for some grub and such. Fun-N-Sun is coming up soon in Lakeland. Glad to hear the bike is coming along pretty good. I bought boards for mine and couldn't shift worth hell so took the left one off to ease shifting but left the right one on. Bill is the only person who has noticed but it works for me. Can't wait to see the bike. Hope we get in the wind soon.

Keep us posted on the Sun n Fun event. I would ride out to meet up with you. I flew aircrew in the Coast Guard both fixed wing and helicapopter and would enjoy that.

I will be going to Sun & Fun also. But not sure how yet, may fly in with my friend, but depends on how they are handling the loss of air controllers, could be a free for all.

I put floor boards on my valk and the shifting suck so I put on the CBR 1100 I think or
maybe CBR 1000 shifter and problem solved. It extends out more so you can get your toe
under it, works great.   cooldude
