Some have had no problem but I could not get the bike to work.  I purchased from a dealer located in England and returned it to the manufacturer for a full refund.

I have a Dyna 3000 on my Valk.  I really like this.  However, it does get cranky when hot and I have not got that sorted out yet.  I run the stock ICM in the summer when the temps are high but run the Dyna when the temps are cool.

I have aquired a heat sink that I plan to mount the Dyna on and see if that will keep it working smoothly even when the weather is hot.  When it was giving me trouble, I had it mounted in the stock rubber sleeve.  I have since read somewhere that putting it in the stock rubber mount is not recommended.

I have one on mine and haven't had any problem,,,,,,yet.

I have mine setup on setting 7 and the 10degree retard setup and activated with a toggle switch. I also am running a 4degree timing wheel.
Mileage hasn't really changed but the seat of the pants dyno seems to like the performance gains.

I planned on making an aluminum braket to mount mine (due to the possible heat problems I was warned about) but just haven't gotten around to it.
I thought I was having a problem with mine I was having a missfire but I installed the stock ICM and the miss was still there so that's not the problem...

Overall I would gladly do it again if I needed a new one and could find one. Although the prices are not realistic when they come around, I got an AWESOEM deal from another member and if I ever decide to remove mine permanantly I would pass on the savings,,,, but NO it's not for sale or trade as of yet or the foreseable future sorry.

also has pics of my mod to keep it cool, heat is its enemy, not moisture since it is a potted unit.

I have one & love it. I only have mine set on 3 but have my revlimiter set to 8000. While a stock ICM revlimits at 6500...I'm still pulling....Smiley

If you've no other spark advance such as after market trigger wheel, set it up to 5.  I think you'll be pleased.

I had one on my 99 tourer and loved it.... Now I  have an interstate and I can't seem to find one... I heard that they discontinued making it for Valks.   Anybody know where one could find another??
