This is my Fred Flintstone special, runs rather quiet...if you overlook the panting. I'm now in the process of sanding/painting the frame, next will be the engine. I'd love to find an old set of springer forks to adapt to it, probably more trouble than it's worth but sure would look cool. I have a good Adjure headlight that would look so neat with a Springer....oh well, we'll see. After the engine is mounted, I'll start looking at different rear fenders. The OEM is two piece; back half is metal, front half plastic. Also plan on replacing the 14.25" rear shocks with something a couple inches lower. Right now, there's over 6" between the top of the tire and the top of the fender. Ridiculous! Need to get my butt down out of the clouds. Different taillight and rear turns, the OEM looks like outriggers on a boat...all will be LED's. As you can see, this is a long term project but I'm not going anywhere....I hope.

Eddie, it's only about 29 miles from our lunch spot to the 75 Chrome Shop. Would you consider meeting there with the tank after you get off work? I can bungee it on the back with a couple towels under it.

Eddie's Valk tank trial mounting Sunday afternoon, I think it looks killer. In these pix it's just sitting on the frame, but looks better if the back end is lifted a bit. The front will come up a bit as well after mounting some rubber on the frame for it to sit on like the Valk has. Be more secure and won't rattle then.

Another view.

Sure wish I could find a decent I/S so I could use the fuel gauge that is already part of the instruments on this model. Pretty pricey on ebay but who knows what I'll run across!
