I'm being nit picky, but the SM says lube should be added to the bottom of the filler hole and the bike should be in an upright position. FWIW ???
I get it... I'm not being an ass here either... but I am pretty sure the manual says to use ONLY tires designed specifically for motorcycles too... but there sure are a lot of successful car tires mounted on Valks out there... just sayin'...
I am starting to buy the damaged grease seal possibility.
But I have personally SEEN the drive shaft come out WET. No crap... dripping oil wet. On MORE than one occasion. Wouldn't that oil wash the grease into your final drive? Is THAT OK?
I wouldn't think it was a huge deal... but if Honda wanted moly lube in the final drive oil... wouldn't they TELL you to put some in there?
I dunno.
I'll post more eventually when I pull it again.
