Boston AP had reported they did, now they are backtracking. Guess thats what I get for reading. Guess I will put a ? behind the title. As usual, the wrong info from the media...  I was happier than a bum on a bologna samich that they had, but I guess not, dammit! |

Some of the news agencies did jump the gun. Maybe an arrest has been made but they don't want the info released. However, right now, the BPD and FBI insist no arrest has been made.

Most agencies do not "report"...... a few do, most others just "repeat".

I get AP alerts on my phone. (don't ask why, because I'm not sure any more.) I first got an alert that the FBI had made an arrest. The TV was on and I noticed that FOX was saying they were unable to confirm that the FBI had made an arrest. Later I got another AP alert that, "The FBI denies making an arrest."  Not we screwed up and reported something incorrect. But the FBI denies making an arrest. I work for a Newspaper, and I can tell you there are some of us in the industry who see the AP as little more than a liberal gossip column now. |

Are these guys Irish? Italian? Polish? German? Mexican? African American? No! You know what they are and it's obvious. Yet not one mention as of yet that these guys are Arabs! I don't think this kind of crap helps their rating that much either. I apologize to everyone! I was happy that this hadn't taken too long to solve. I was and still am pulling for the victims, their families and anyone involved. But, again, I jumped the gun too. |
