I am running the Clearview stock height shield.  The first thing I noticed was that the Clearview was thicker than the stock shield.  No problem installing though.  I am VERY happy with the Clearview.  I would go that way again.

Clearview will cut one to any height you want, for a fee.

I run a 2" shorter than stock Cee Bailey with a dark tint and love it. I looks very good and does a good job of diverting the wind. It is shaped similar to the stock shield but a bit thicker. No problem with mounting. They come in various heights, just be cautious on how short you go as I found the shorty too short and my wife hated it thus we got rid of it and went with the 2" shorter than stock sheild. Said she couldn't see anything because of the wind with the 6" shorter than stock.

@ lyle lynn......i hear great things about F6 but HUGELY expensive.  i can go perhaps 20 years and the same $$$$ on a cee baileys or others.  on the plus side F6 will be at americade to do the install.  gotta think about it.

Same here, I put on the short one for about 1/2 day and hated it. It's worse than nothing at all, I went with the 2" below stock, (light tint) from Cee Bailey and it works good up to about 75-80 them it's a little windy unless you slump down a bit...

Depends on what you really want from the windsheild.

I can't remember for sure 100% but I believe mine is listed as 10.5"? It might be the 12" version?
Wind, YES with a flip up modular helmet it gets noisy at speed, I tend to run at or above 75mph to and from work but I really like the look enough to put up with the noise during these rides.
When it gets hot out, the extra wind is heaven sent.

I also have an oversized sheild for the times when it gets way too cold for the extra wind (for a few weeks at a time, temps expected under 38degrees). I don't mind the cold too much.

That shield looks good, and do think you have enough lights on the front of that thing?   Grin

a week after the new year started I saw on facebook that clearview was having a sale the normally 203.00 shield was on sale for 129.00 off yes that's rite 59.99 for a standard or tourer replacement glass so any shield in stock was that price so I ordered the 4 inch shorter than stock glass and had them install a 5 position vent in it for another 60.00 and the sale had ended 8 days earlier and they still honored there sale price for me that's pretty good service the Honda direct price for a replacement shield is 260.00 stock size only but the one difference is the clearview shield dosent have the bottom chin on it below the headlight but if you have a lightbar its easier to install it

I run a 1960 Harley FL panhead fairing on my 98 tourer. When I needed a new shield I went to the Harley stealer  and for $139.95 he would hook me up. Called Cee Bailey, nice people to deal with and in two days had one for $42.00 plus $5.00 S&H. That was three years ago and have been satisfied since. I would do business with them again.

I just installed my new Clearview (HON-VIG0S) and had it cut down to 13". It is 5" wider than stock and 2.5" shorter after being cut down. It is perfect for my height as I look just over the top of it. Thicker than OEM but not a problem installing using factory windshield bushings. Shield was $194. + $40. cut down fee. Takes awhile to get it but worth the time and expense in my opinion.
