I bought a used Valk last year and the PO had a new Metzler installed on the front . The more I ride the more low speed wobble I get . The front tire does not say radial , the Metzler on the rear is marked steel radial and is made in Germany , the front   is made in Brazil , do you guys think the front is a bias ply ?

                                                                        Thanks

If it dosn't say radial on the side, I think, it's not a radial. I think. Could always get the model number from the tire and look it up (google) cooldude

Maybe not a radial, but I have used a bias on front and radial on the rear and never had a problem.  Could be it needs the the steering stem tightened above the the triple tree?  Hoser  Undecided

Yes, or too low a tire pressure. Needs at least 40 psi, some run even more. But check the shock bushings to see if they're oval shape now. If so, could be the very reason for the problem you're having.

All of the  mc tires I have checked list a Max. pressure of 41 psi. I run 38 front and rear in my E3's and they are wearing very well, 11.000 on rear, 4,000 on front, no cupping or wearing on the left side as the Metz tire did. I weigh 175-185 depending on how cold it is.

Just to update on my wobble , after double checking tire pressure , steering head bearing tightness , installed new shock bushings ,   nothing changed ,I got a new front tire [ Dunlop E 3 ] , had Dogg mount it and put in Dyna Beads , wobbles all gone , feels like it's supposed to now . I don't know if the P O had run the old tire low on pressure for an extended time or didn't follow the correct torque and tightening procedure when it was installed ,  the tire looked great but didn't feel great . Thanks for all the advice .

MAX PSI on Metzler 880 steel belts is 50, front and rear (150/180), no exp with the 200 rear.
