I know this has been discussed many times.  searched shoptalk on my HI speed dial up and just got frustrated, so.  I am pulling the carbs to replace the slows.  It would be wise to install new vacuum lines as well while I am in there.  What size lines are in there and does the petcock take a smaller line?

thanks

technically it is a metric size.  If you use the 5/32, you can throw away those aggrivating little hose clamps.  #6 is same as #3 and #4.  Check the caps on the others and make sure they are not cracked.

It is on shop talk.   It's under   "Vent Hose Replacement"

Since the air box was already removed, I decided to also change the small hoses that are connected to the carburetors (on the same side as the enrichment valves).

Notes:
5/32 hose was used instead of 3/16 (no clips required)
1/8 vent caps were used
