I would appreciate comments from anyone that knows Colorado well. We are coming in from the north on highway 87. I thought for a scenic route and since we will have a couple of extra days we could go west at Ft collins and travel hwy 14 to Walden then south to Granby then east again through the Rocky Mountain Nat Park to Estes Park. From there we would head south on hwy 72 until we reach Hwy 6.
What do you think? Any other suggested routes? Are there things that we should make sure we see along this route? How much time would it take to get from Ft Collins to Frisco by this route?
Your Help would be very much appreciated.
