How can I find the part numbers for OEM parts?....I am planning on ordering some spare parts such as U-joint, U-joint boot, drive shaft & pinion cup. Thanks...

I use this place (PartsFish)...

http://www.partsfish.com/

Use the 'drill down' to get to your specific bike/year/model, they then have numbered drawings, that are listed by PN and cost.

Check the VRCC Classifieds, there was all but the boot I believe posted yesterday or so, still in the package.

Here's the HDL parts link.  Find your bike, year, and parts.  FWIW, I never order on line.  I always do my homework on this link, write all my part numbers down, then call HDL/DLP and get a human to order from.  The guy on the phone will tell you if each is in stock or on back order with an idea of when they are expected in.  This info is not available ordering on-line.

Note occasionally, some later year parts are better/cheaper, like the one part wheel dampners instead of the two part.

#5 in the fiche. http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=2552303&category=Motorcycles&make=Honda&year=1998&fveh=132665

Hit the dropdown arrow and find whatever other parts you need by section of the bike.
