I've been with balance beads thru 3 front tires and 2 D/S tires. Also one of the 18 wheelers I drove had them. On the Phatt Ghurl no issues from standing start to 130 M P H indicated. The tires I have removed are worn evenly with no cupping or scalloping. Beads WILL NOT repair a nail hole or such while riding like Slime does. I've never used Slime. The semi I drove with the beads as a company they were getting 25 to 35% more wear from their tires. P M da prez and he can tell you where to purchase it in bulk. Or go to Honda Direct Line and buy the smaller amounts according to tire size. I'm sold on the balance beads. RIDE SAFE.

Put Ride-On in your tires and they will be balanced AND protected from small punctures in the middle of the tread.

I have Dyna Beads in the Valk tires and Ride On in the V-Strom. Both ride nice & smooth with no unusual tire wear. I think the next set of tires on the Valk will get the Ride On treatment just because of the added benefit of sealing small punctures.

Have never tried beads, so no comment there. But just FYI, I started using Ride on in my tires. Smooth as silk..........

I've used both beads and RideOn... both seem to work. RideOn might help with a flat, and I didn't like putting the beads in, so RideOn is what I've kept using...

www.centramatic.comwww.wingstuff.comI bought a pair for the front wheel on my Valkkyrie IS and it smoothed out a crapy and cupped Bridgestone. They dont make any yet for the Valkyrie rear. they said there was not enough room but I think someone could make it work. For now you can order for the front, same as the goldwing. Bryan

I'm getting some bouncing feel in the front. Front and rear tires were showing signs of cupping and getting down to wear bars in spots. So I changed to new E3 on both with ride-on. Either I'm expecting a lot more smoothness with Ride-on or something else is going on. Please help with your experience. The bouncing feel is not consistent and will come and go. Thanks, Steve

I kept reading so much about Ride On that I ordered enough for the Triumph and the Valk ! Just this afternoon I put it in the front and rear of the Triumph, removed all the weights and it's as smooth as silk ! I'll probably go ahead and do the Valk later in the week ! I did have to run to Wally World to pick up a better valve core removal tool - I snapped two of the three that came with the Ride On I ordered ! The ones that came with the Ride On are cheap I guess ( or I tightened them down to much, which I may have done ) The one from WW was less than 3 bucks, made by Slime, and came with 4 spare valve cores and the tool looks like it'll last ! I mainly got the Ride On to help prevent a flat on the road - the balancing was a bonus !

I tried the Dynabeads, kept losing air from the valve stem even when using the supposedly sealed valve cores. I switched to the Ride On and have been very happy. I still have a large quantity of the Dynabeads-if anyone wants them they are yours for the cost of shipping. I won't give those leaky suckers another try.

I'm not sure I understand this decision. The tires were professionally balanced, why not leave the balance weights on and run the Ride On as well?

I've used ride-on for a few years and like it (though I haven't gotten to test the sealing ability). Just FYI, as I understand it, ride-on is self-balancing meaning that it balances itself evenly throughout the tire, not that it balances the tire.

According to their web site, Ride-On is a sealer and balancer. Misfit took off a lot of unsightly lead when he put this stuff in both my front Avon and rear darkside Austone, and balanced it is. http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html

I agree .... I tried the beads and they work for balance, but didn't stop me from having a blow out.

It DOES balance the wheel/tire assembly. It distributes itself around the tire, but it also migrates more to the light side of the tire until the wheel is balanced, following the same principle as Dyna Beads.

When was the last time you thoroughly checked your tires for a puncture and found the Ride On fixed one without you knowing?? I will say that my tires with Ride On now keep the pressure to what I put in it. They used to deflate some over the off season or a bit between checks, but didn't after Ride On was installed.

Beads will change the balance points with tire wear for and even tire wear... and Ride On will balance a new tire for even wear until its worn out.

I tried the beads but if you can't get any moisture in the tire. I always manage to get some moisture in the tire when I mount the tire. I stick with Ride on. Dual purpose.
