On my 99 tourer I have a 46255 Hoppy powered converter to run trailer lights, everything works as it should. If I replace trailer lights with LEDs will this still work.   I just hooked up lights on my 2004 standard and did not use powered  converter cause I had a regular 5 to 4 converter laying around is this going to be a problem? anyone doing this? Thanks in advance Rick

On the 5/4 converter, I'd recommend LEDs so you don't place a load on the bikes rear fender wiring. The Hoppe powered converter is rated for incandecent bulbs. I've seen them fail when LEDs are used on the trailer. Hoppe has another converter for LEDs. Don't know the number. BTW, what is an 04 Standard? A typo?
