The art of persuasive marketing....

Excerpt from Craigslist ad
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/mcy/3774074212.html
"It has been in my garage the whole time but unfortunately I didn't routinely start it up and run it, so now it needs the carbs serviced and the fuel and air filters changed.
I'm not a motorcycle mechanic and to do all the needed repairs are a bit beyond my capabilities.
It would run if I sprayed starter fluid in the air box, so I think the carbs need cleaned.
At the moment, it is somewhat taken apart because I was pulling the carbs, so pics wouldn't really do it justice. I've pulled the tank and started to remove the airbox and carbs but decided I was in over my head, so if you know what you're doing some of the work is already started."

$5,978? Interesting number. I'm surprised he didn't end it with 12ยข.

I wouldn't mind getting it, but of course distance and money are in the way. It would make a perfect project bike for me.

In this wild and wolly world, there are only 3 things you can depend on, your brains, your bros, and your bike. Ride free!!!
A good friend will bail you out of jail. A true friend will be sitting next to saying "Damn, That Was Fun"

Here's one a little closer...and cheaper, in one piece.
