Looks like they are still open, at least by their web site. Wish i could make it but this will be a miss for me unfortunately.  Sad

Sunday would be good for me too. I ride up there quite a lot, nice roads and hills.  Cheesy  Hit the
Hess station on 50 and 541(Spring Lake Rd) In the morning to check out all the different kinds of bikes, kinda like a mini mini bike week. So yea I'm up for for it.

Sounds nice, but will be running around in Kentucky with Smokin Joe and a lot of other Valks. Looks like gonna be a great weekend there, 46 degrees in the am with a high of 70. My kind of weather.

I was thinking Saturday as not to mess up any family outings. Sunday would be fine too.
I'll confirm that they are open on Saturday & Sunday then post back.  cooldude
Still wide open as far as I'm concerned, just wanted to pick a place kinda central for the Tampa Bay & Orlando area riders. Leesburg was a totally awesome turnout!

Eddie,
Andrea and I were planning on going to Gators @ John's Pass Saturday. We will postpone it and post it up another time for a possible lunch meet. Brooksville sounds good and I can make it Saturday. Link to the NEW John's Pass/Gators. Always lot's going on there.

Gators at John's Pass....been there, done that, more than once. Would love to do it again some day. I always thought it was nice of the city to name a pass after me, don't you think?   2funny

If the question was weather Coney Island is open that is a yes. Was open this last weekend so no issues should arise.

Saturday will work for us. Just a suggestion but since it appears our summer weather pattern is here, should we meet earlier than Noon (11:00?) to avoid afternoon storms on return trip? Also, please post address to hot dog joint so we newbies get to the right place. Thanks.

If the ride is on Saturday we can stop at Sleepy Hollow in Floral City on the way back. Usually a good (Classic) rock and roll band there on the weekends and lots of bikes and friendly folks.
http://www.wallowatthehollow.com/

Anyone want to meet up in Eustis and run down from here?
We can run over on 48 and down.

Well, I guess the consensus is a Saturday lunch. Looks like the entire weekend is going to be rain free & cooler than the last few days.
I went to high school in Brooksville & used to sneak off campus for lunch at Coney Island back in the day. New local folks bought it & have breathed new life into it without losing any of it's old charm.
I will give them a call tomorrow & if possible reserve a dining room for 12:00 to 1:00 Saturday.
There is usually a good # of bikes there on the weekend mostly of the usual brand Roll Eyes. It would be cool to freak 'em out with a pack of Valks!  Cool cooldude
Chime in with a headcount just for the heck of it.

Firmed it up with Coney Island. Reserved the big dining room if we have a big turnout, if a small turnout we'll just use the normal dining area. They are very happy to have us!

11:00 - 11:30 arrival & BS time 12:00 or so head in to eat.  cooldude

I'm in for Saturday. Hoping to get the Gurl back together today; if not I'll be riding my Aero.
Billyboy, I'll be at the Mac Steakhouse at 41 & 54 around 8-8:15 am.
Thinking Erand cutoff up and over and a few other back routes, I'm sure I can get lost even if I pop back out onto 50 to the Hess station.
Should be a good morning ride before the heat sets in.
Looking forward to a meetup with the chapter.

I was hoping for the best, but it didn't happen.  I came down with a cold, it started jumping on me Tuesday.  Not up to snuff yet, so y'all have fun and eat a dog for me.

Great location Eddie and a real good turn out. I have some photo's I'd love to share but for some reason I can't upload anything to photo Bucket? I have a new computer, that shouldn't matter. I'm stumped and not crazy about this Windows-8.
