So here I am with my new Go Pro camera with more vid clips than I know what to do with. It dawned on me that if I had a  snazzy video editing program I could do cool things with these clips.
Any recommendations for an inexpensive and most of all, SIMPLE program from all you folks that are knowledgeable in this area?
My head explodes easily so please be gentle. Wink

Try Pinnacle Studio, its easy and fast and cost effective. Check the web site they may have a tryout demo and it may cost around $49, depending on version. I use it and it seems to work better then some of my high dollar programs.

If you are using Windows XP service pack 2 or Microsoft Vista, just use the built in moviemaker program. Reasonably competent and fairly easy to learn. Fine for most things you will be doing.

Here is a link to some video I shot on my Valk a month or so ago in Oregon. Shot with a Viosport POV1.5 and edited in Moviemaker. The fancy 3D titles at the beginning are done in another program, so ignore those.

If you are using a Mac, then use the iMovie program, which is very similar and will do most of the same things or more.

Thanks for the responses. I'll start with moviemaker as I have it already. If I enjoy fiddling with this stuff I'll move up to Pinnacle. cooldude
