Hey y'all! Ive been searching and searching to no avail. I did the Pingel, dan-marc install. Now i want to replace the chrome engine hanger original fuel petcock cover. I read somewhere on here that someone makes one that comes without the hole for the fuel petcock indicator. But i can't find it on here. And, one that matches the original ones that i'm running now.
thank you!

If all else fails then the cheapest chrome cover that I found was this Wolo horn. It leaves just enough room to get to my Pingel. Functional chrome I call it.

When I had bought my bike new, I got those chrome "ribbed" plates that covered the "open" area's on both sides. But when I switched to a Pingel petcock, I of course, had to lose the left one.   Sad

So I remounted my coil pack with the appropriate sized threaded rod......."lock-tighted (red)" into chrome acorn nuts, which turned them into "bolts"........which in turn I bolted through chrome oversize fender washers.    (x3)

So I at least DO have, a LITTLE chrome in that area!!!!    Cool

Not as much chrome as I was used to, but it IS a nice accent, on the "cheap".........

Bought one a month ago from valkyrie bling.  He told me he had one left.  He may still have it.  I have the pingel and the hole is covered.  If you want a pic let me know.

I did the same swap but just bought a spare fuel selector knob and cut the shaft off the back of it so it looks like its a stock working petcock but the knob just spins and has no function and if it was stolen god forbid the thief would panic and never look for the working petcock up under the tank and split and I might find my bike within a mile from where it was parked yes it is a bit awkward to get at but that's the idea the knob was only 10 bucks on ebay  oh I didn't do the dan marc install so I have to do a manual petcock shutoff every time  but im used to that by now but if I had the dan marc I would install a hidden on/off power switch to power it up

My plan was to do as MMurffy03 did. I found a quarter fits perfectly in the hole. Polish up your favorite year and clear coat it, then JB Weld it in. I planned on cutting down the stock valve and re attaching it, but my temporary quarter fix grew on me so I left it.
Sorry, I can't post pics.
