Okay, I took the Kuryakyn pegs off today. They don't offer the kid of adjustability I am looking for. I want something that puts the foot a bit lower but at about the same distance from the front axle, essentially right about where the mount itself was (one the rearward running part of the crash bar) without the extension bar. Who says what?

Anvil, I have a set of Mick's on my I/S and love them.  After Joe's KY ride this weekend the now have an interesting pointed angle on the end of the pegs from being introduced to some of the KY curves.

Same here, check out the mick o pegs. I just started using them this spring and am liking them. I also have pegs on the crash bars, it gives you two totally different choices.

Anvil, here is what you want.  They are made by Kuryakyn and have to be drilled larger.  A quick 10 minute mod with the right size drill bit.

I love the idea of the Mick-o-pegs. Unfortunately they'd still be A bit far back. Zeus, those look like they might be the ticket. I'll look into it.
