Sunday June 2nd, Webster Westside Flea Market presents an outstanding Car and Motorcycle Swap Meet & Show! More than 300 filled vendor spaces bringing both new and used parts and related merchandise for a day of dealing. Here's where you find everything from that unique part you've been looking for, to a ready-made project car or motorcycle or even a brand new custom ride. In the corral, you can either buy or sell a car or bike.

The Show awards trophies and cash prizes! Shine up and bring your car or motorcycle and get in on the action. There is a special trophy and cash prize for clubs and organizations that bring 10 or more members.

I need a nice long ride.  Can I bring my buddy?  He rides a victory and continuously trying to get me to give up my Valk for one but he's a good guy.

I go almost every month. It's about a 40 mile ride from my house. I usually park inside the gates by the restroom area accessing the gate off of 478. It's almost a complete Shirley-Davidson fest as you would expect but occasionally you run across a good deal for something. I bought the Honda mirrors for Kim's Valkyrie there & believe it or not jeans & a belt there too.  Shocked

Sounds like a ride!
I also try to go up to Webster each month, tend to park in the trees for a little shade, bring a sandwich and drink along most of the time.
Any idea of a meeting time? The place packs up just after noon most months.

I usually leave the house about 9-9:30 getting to Webster 10-10:30. Takes me about an hour to walk the place. Home by 1:00 so I can still get stuff done around the house (& garage}.
Going earlier like that avoids the "heat" for those who think it ever gets hot around here {it doesn't Grin} & in the summer usually avoids the thunderboomers.

I heard hey charge for admission.  Is that correct?  If so, how much? Is it per person or per vehicle?

Webster is pretty much a straight shot for me but you can open the throttle (I.e. 23 MPG) running up 471 through the swamp.

$5.00 and you get a raffle type ticket that you can redeem for a free beer (or the $5.00 you paid to get in not necessarily free but it's the thought of getting something for free).  cooldude

Larue,
Not sure when we'll be back. Probably won't make it though. I like to keep Sunday clear as a day off before returning to work. You either get up very early, or stay up very late Roll Eyes

Larue, not this time. I've been lurking on the board even though I haven't posted. I did some repairs on another person's Valk, still waiting on a couple parts. And yes, messing with the old Wing a little. My next project is pulling down my own bike, the final drive needs servicing badly so want to take care of it soon on the outside chance I can travel on it this summer.

Now that we're getting into the hot season, I'll be riding less. I know Eddie doesn't think it gets hot down here, but he just ain't right anyway.  Grin

I am going to pass this time also, need to check over my bike after a 2,000 mile ride last week. Also have a Valkyrie trike coming by to check out a over heating problem, don't know what kind of worms I am going to get into with it.

Not 100% ... I will be a last minute show if I make it at all. My son is home on leave from the Army so we are doing a few short family day events while he is home.  I will be up for most anything after 9 June.

I'm going to a tech session up in Oldsmar sat. and sun. with the group from the VTX Cafe. If the sun. ride isn't interesting I'm going to head up to Webster then about 4 hrs back to Naples. Hope it's a dry ride but this time of year there's a good chance of rain.
Hope to see everyone up there.

Larue, regretfully I will sit this one out.
I'm home but will enjoy Sunday as a day of rest, before returning to work. Everyone have fun, ride safe and take pics for us.

coolsmiley Rain stopped just after midnight here in Tampa. Roads should be clear by 8:30 or so.
I'll get to the flea about 10:00am.
Rode my Aero 160 miles today and didn't hit a drop of rain, just cloudy skys.
Valk riders: You might want to have a kick stand puck for the flea; it's not paved parking. With this rain make sure to check your stand placement.

Rats, couldn't make it up there. Too many bikes still in pieces this morning. Worked until 1:00 this afternoon to finish them and then had to ride back home. Just not enough hours in a weekend.

Hey Larue, sorry we missed the ride to Webster today. We were out of town for a few days and was away from any computers so I couldn't reply until now, hope to catch up with you all on the next ride, Bert.
