There's a web site hosted by the SoFL where they list unclaimed property. If you've ever done business here, they may be holding a rebate check, a utility refund, an old deposit account, or any number of other types of money or property that were given to the state because the company couldn't find the rightful owner.
Http://www.fltreasurehunt.org is the site. Select Search, then put your last name or the last name of a friend and Search. Review the list for your name and check the address...they were holding money for a number of friends and my son.
Share this with your family and friends...no sense leaving money with the state when it belongs to hardworking folks.
