An excellent day of checking out the flea although the forecast sure shyed many away. After meeting up with Billyboy at the flea we found Larue and Pappy seeking bargans and scaned the vendors one more time. We spotted several other valks at the flea but didn't connect with any other owners. Thought I saw Gil's valk but wasn't sure. (VALK 2 - bumble bee). Wish we had some small VRCC decals that would enable us to identify fellow members.
Headed out and rode over to Sleepy Hollow for a little cool beverage and lunch. Enjoyed the relaxing surroundings and company. As the four of us pulled into Sleepy Hollow the crowds eyes sure went right to us. The Valks draw HD eyes like moths to a flame; many really nice comments and questions about our rides.
Billyboy and I headed out at the start of the rain but that downpour only lasted about 5 miles. Taking one of our favorite back ways toward home we separated at rt 50. I hit another downpour just after rt 50 for another 5 miles....pretty severe rain.
Was back out by the time I got to Busch Blvd in Tampa. Got showered, and had to give the Gurl a fresh water bath and clean up before putting her back in the back shop. Thanks for the ride guys, and thanks for the lead home Billy. Looking forward to our next venture. Final Inzane bike prep underway later this week. I'm really liking the Aux fuel tank!
