Me and the other half will be there. Looking forward to making more than one meeting per year . My change of days off was approved. Unfortunately, I will not be able to ride on the weekends. . Walt

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but... I'll admit, I gained a lot of respect for the man that night. I'm sure his security detail knew exactly what that fanny pack was, but I was still able to get up and put an arm around him for a picture anyway. Lotta politicians talk the talk, but he actually walks the walk, in that regard at least. On the actual topic - I'm iffy at best, I forgot Kali has swim on Thursdays, and momma's outta town for business. I'll be last minute at best as to if I can make it, but I'll try.

I'll be doing what no good, self-respecting VRCC member would do. I'll be packing for a bike rally. We leave tomorrow morning at 5am for ROT in Austin to camp for the weekend. Yes, I know there will be "those other kinds of bikes" there but I will try to overlook that. Will see all you guys next weekend at Vaughn's Catfish on the Lake. We can break bread (or catfish and shrimp) together then. Ya'll have fun. Eat a rib for me until we can do the fish thing.

Sorry to miss it. Like Doc, packing for a trip, but northeast instead of south. Enjoy the BBQ and if Rick P stops in again, make him feel welcome. He ain't all good, but he's a lot better than most have in their capitols.

Got together at Soulman's and enjoyed BBQ. Stormrider (Walt), Speedo (Ron), Ghillie (Chris), RainMaker (Mark), ValkPilot (Dave), Dragon (Daniel). BrewBrew (Les), Hugh, our friend Lyn Bridgewater from Rockwall Honda and Lisa, Walt's wife, were in attendance.
Talked about the upcoming elections in July and reminded everyone to be there, commented on RainMaker's upcoming office (past president), discussed the Ride to Vaughn's Catfish on June 23rd and safety tips and discussions led by Valkpilot that will become a regular part of our meetings. Daniel spoke about his trip to visit Willow in Kansas City and Lyn told us about his work at Rockwall Honda.
Next meeting will be at FuddRuckers in Grapevine on July 11th and this is the election meeting for Vice-President as ValkPilot will become the new president.
That is all.
