I want to buy some floor boards, tired of the pegs.
I have the Rattlebars Foot peg lowering kit and the Heel to Toe shifter installed.
What or who fits?
What keeps the shine? In the past I read about some losing the finish.
What and where is the best buy?
Thanks.

I have the Cobra boards with the rattlebars shifter and they work well together.  Still shining after 10 years, except for the parts that have been grounded off.

Rainmaker - can you post a pic of your Cobra board - I've been thinking about it and curious how they look?

Thanks,

All floorboards take some abuse, we put our cruddy boots on them all the time, and some of us drag them in the corners.

Cobras are far and away the most used.  Cobra uses their smaller passenger boards for valk driver boards because of limited space available from the valve covers.  Even my size 8.5 left foot is off the board a little while riding, no big deal.  Still much more comfortable than pegs. They work with the Rattlebars peg lowering kit.

Cobra classic.

Cobra swept.

Kuryakyn Iso Wings without ends (must buy/use Kury Valk driver peg adapters to mount them) (much cheaper than cobras) (this is the LONG discontinued Kuryakyn kick shifter for valk)

MC Enterprises boards and heel toe shifter package, not separate as far as I know (expensive)

Darryl's XF6 Custom extreme floorboards (not cheap)

Kuryakyn may make full floorboards for Valk driver, but I do not know for sure.

MC Enterprises boards

Avoid these boards with a passion if you corner hard.  I used to think it was cool dragging them in corners until I hit a really sharp corner and I couldn't lean far enough because the board dug into the asphalt and forced me into the oncoming lane, I ground the spring retainer down and lost the spring that day.  I went straight home and put my stock pegs back on.  Only buy these if you corner like a grandma and spend most of your time on the highway.

If I can find them I'll sell 'em real cheap.
