Went for a ride out through the desert today.  We never get tired of seeing it.  For those familiar with the Phoenix area, this is on Apache Trail just before the pavement ends.  Although this is miles from anywhere, it looks like someone's garden.

With the recent rains, the Ocotillos are all leafed out and the Agaves are in bloom.

That pic was taken about 5 miles past Tortilla Flat.  The pavement ends and then there's 20 miles of gravel road out to Roosevelt Dam.  The gravel road is a lot of fun, and yes, we're always on the lookout for the Lost Duchman's gold.
