We're long past due for a wrench party.  Let's get together at Phyllis's this Sunday, June 30.  We'll start at 9 and go till everyone passes out from heatstroke.
If you don't know where Phyllis's place is, holler at either me or her offline, and we'll tell you.  We don't post maps/addresses/directions out in the open for her sake.

As usual working. Ya'll have fun. Rode to work yesterday afternoon it was 108 at the plant. Like riding into a 2500watt hair dryer on high. This morning a cool 80

It wasn't a large crowd of people, but we had some good tire kicking/BSing going on.
Unfortunately, due to a change in plans, I had to bring the car and observe only, which was a shame, because I had to then hold my own wrench party that evening.  All three brake rotors were being actively resurfaced , but that's over now (Translation:  I was at, or nearly at, metal on metal for every brake pad on the bike.  Long overdue for a change.  She stops much better now).

Good to see the folks that came out.

RM

Thanks for the update. I need to inspect my I/S's rear and don't have the nerve to open her up without some expert's standing around and guiding. I'll make it to the next one we have (fingers crossed).

We just been talking about one the past couple days.  Not sure when yet, but will post on the board.

My thoughts are to probably wait until after the Texas Ride In the weekend of 18-19-20 in Fredericksburg.

I broke this out into another thread, since this one has June in the title.  Go here for the October wrench party:
