hey. i found a flat head screw right down the middle of my front tire... when i got home the flat head sheered off.. i so far im still holding have avons.. so can a plug and patch work.. or tube... and will a dealer do it..

Me personally would not plug or patch the front maybe the rear. Now as for the innertube well I probably would do that if the tire was fairly new !!!

Did you pull the screw out to see if it went all the way thru? It may have not.Then you are good to go. If it went thru was it a large one? When you plug you will ream it first and that will make the hole larger. I would put an inside the tire patch, I do not think a dealer would do it due to liability resons. Plugs are good in a pinch, some go many more miles with them, I do not. I do all my own tire work so I make the call to patch or get a new tire. I would not tube  it unless it is a bius ply tire.
