I have installed many a timing belt and all kinds factory and after market. The factory ones are always so pretty and usually more expensive did it make any difference in the results, NO. Plus no one ever sees it except the guy that replaces it the next time if the vehicle is still around. I just changed the belts on my Valk and went to Napa and picked up theirs and they work fine. Quality was good nothing different about them so I really have to say that it doesn't matter. To do the job correctly is more important. The boxes that the belts come in are marked for Honda motorcycles just for additional info. My bike only has 40k on it and its a 01 and I was happy I replaced them it did make a difference in the smoothness and because the belts are new and not 8 years old were much softer and quieter than the old ones that had somewhat dried up.

I installed Napa belts on a 85 Goldwing (4 cyl). Get the belts before you start the job. I was alerted by a post that most Napa shops carry one of each belt they keep in inventory. Go to two shops or my local Napa had the second belt the next AM.

changing them.. Don't let the pulley move at all, these can not be allowed to move at all.. Don't let me scare you, this is an easy job. Just make sure the timing marks are correct when your finished and turn the engine over by hand to make it turns freely before starting.. I also set the tension slightly looser than than Honda says,, I like 3/8",, that makes them a bit quieter..
