Here is a good place to get the best proction for your rear. I bought one several years ago. They have all different colors and long or short and they will fit it to your seat. It is only a 100m. loop from LaCrosse taking you 2 1/2 hrs. round trip.  Take 33 south of Lacrosse east to Ontario and turn Rt. on 133 for 6 1/2m. The Rockton Bar is at the top of the hill, the store is just past it right on a 90deg corner.       Wild Wings is open S&S 10-3, & M-F 9-4.      Leaving:  P & 133 split, follow P s. & west to 27 & turn left on 27 to Westby. then right on 14 to go back to LaCrosse.

http://www.wildthingsfur.com/sheepskin_seat_covers.asp

That is their website.  Got mine done last summer from them as well.  It takes about 1 hour, if lucky, of wait time and hopefully since only have usually 2 people working on them, they have time to do them, pretty busy place especially on weekends.  I paid 130 bucks and website last year listed 2-up full dresser being 110 bucks for both seats so wasn't too happy with them charging me 130 bucks.  I see now on their website just shown a double XL (which is what all of ours probably will be for covering both rider and passenger seats) is now 140 bucks, not cheap by any means,  not great, but decent quality. (in my opinion)

We floated the kickapoo river last year while up there in drought season.  More like walking the canoe down the 4-5" at most river, what a chore that was for miles and miles, not fun at all, sure wish it would've been deeper instead of scraping bottom for most of it and walking it a lot.

If going that route, wander on over to with cycle the twisties of Wildcat Mountain State Park road.  Several twisty sharp corners all at once with nice scenery as well.  The kickapoo valley is very nice scenery and good roads as well.

I got my wool cover, from the local Hospital.

As I was going out the back door to go home I saw this guy shoving a bunch of these in the recycle/trash bin.

Asked if I could get one or two, he said here take these.   He shoved 7 in my hands.      I used to carry 2 with me all the time on trips and gave the extras away,   I still have that woolly rug for long rides and to keep the sweat off my butt.      I use it on a Ultimate seat, long trips only and or super HOT days.    Makes it 100% more comfortable.  Right now it is in the luggage compartment of MGM's Trike body.

I just looked at their sight. I see the fur market  has gone back up some. I bought mine for 75 for my I/S.  There used to be a place by the Hammond Exit on Interstate 94 I have no update but I got a great deal on a medical grade one for my I/S For less and I liked it better. It was short nap maybe kinda what RJ was talkin about.

Yupper, that was it.   I punch a hole in it for the back rest and the rest of the sheepskin just lays on the 2 seats.    When it gets wet, I just stop at a Laundromat and stick it in the dryer.

PS:     The part hanging over the saddle bag, never seemed to disturb the paint.    I don't think it really flapped that much on the road.
