Bought a 99 Valk IS with low odometer reading a month ago. Got my title today and it has exempt under the Odo reading. Researched online and saw that in Texas vehicles over 10 years are exempt from disclosing the milage. Wondering if that is valid. Ran a title check online - came clean without milage disclosure. Just wondering......

If it is over 10 years old here in Texas, it is exempt.  I can't remember when they changed it, but it has been that way for a long time.

Concur on the 10 yrs.  Just a few weeks ago, I purchased an older car, and couldn't remember the precise mileage to put on the title transfer request.  The guy behind the desk told me it didn't matter, as it would only show "exempt" anyway.
