Looks like the spring is all you need. I too once went to the stealer looking for the second spring. No such animal exists. You only need the larger, main spring. Your spring pin and kickstand switch look good to go! Glad that's the only damage you suffered when you "jumped" the carcass.

"should" be just the spring...but buy a pin too...as that thing is hardened and if it took a good whack it'll break soon...wiggle it hard and make sure it's okay.

Thanks Dan. Your advice was invaluable at 1:00am in the middle of scattered thunder storms. Gotta love bungie cords.

wonder if you ran over my missing highway peg? Did you hit it on 39 south?
Was great meeting you and thanks for the music.

Hit it within a mile of entering the NYS Thruway. It also bent the lift adapter. Gotta check that and make sure it's still usable. Hope the music made your trip more enjoyable.

What do you mean when you say it bent the lift adapter? is it the red one we all bought about 10 years ago to use with the Harbor Freight floor jack? The one that attaches with the two bent headless bolts? Say it aint so!!!

Must have been a good hit to bend that. Your right, looks as the adapter veered off what ever it was from getting into your rear tire which could have been a df. outcome. If can't use the adapter give them a shout and tell what happened. They may make you a deal on a new one. Since a return buyer.

Crossmember looks fine. Straightened and re-installed the adapter and the new spring and all seems well. Spring pin was fine. I think I dodged a bullet on this one...
Along with my new spring, My desmog kit came today also. Once my exhaust gaskets arrive, I'll be ready for the next project: cut down on decel popping!
