I have a 97 Valk and the braes needed to be replaced when i took in for a safety so i replaced the front and rear with HH type brakes from my local dealer. Before i replaced the rear i had herd a buzz comming from the rear and now after replacing both front and rear i hear this buzz from only the front, it getrs louder upon braking and i can sometimes hear it going down the road. Is this a common ting or is ther something i need to do to rectify this anoyi8ng problem

If the dealer sold you EBC pads it is normal until they are worn in. A lot of dealers use them because they are cheaper, as I do. If he told you EBC pads are OEM, he is lying. Hoser

Hey thanks Hoser this is my first bike and I am glad i bought the best, having never owned a bike before i kieep hearing noises and not sure if they are normal or what as far as the brakes i did them myself, apart of my profession of blowing stuff up i do have a good mechanical prowess, the pads by the way were an aftermarket brand given to me by the dealer the only difference is that the front pads only had one space, two piece, compared to the stock ones with two spaces, three piece. Again thanks for the assurance that this is normal.....

I'm glad he didn't lie to you. I've use the ebc organic pads for years, never had any problems. I kinda like the buzzing, and it does go away eventually.
