Nov 8th - 8:00am-1:00PM (opening up an hour early for the early risers).

UNITS Mobile Storage Warehouse
1200 Gambrel Road, Suite 104
Arlington, TX 76014
817-375-1521

Forecast - Sunny, 49 to 73 degrees.

Closest major intersection - I-20 and Collins Street.  The warehouse is located directly behind the Saturn dealership. Exit I-20 at Collins and go North (right if coming from the east, left if coming from the west).  Go past the Mobil gas station to the first right turn, Pavilion Place.  Turn right and follow the curve.  The warehouse will be on your right as you come out of the curve.  Turn right into the driveway next to the building and come around front.  The second suite from the south side of the building is UNITS.  The two containers up front plus all the signs will be easy clues to follow. Ride up the ramp and inside the building.

If you use a GPS, you'll end up northwest of the building but you'll be able to see it easily, since you will be at a field.  Beats me why they didn't make the address the correct one.

I will have a cooler full of bottled water and coffee for those who aren't awake yet.  There are bathrooms here and running water, too.

After the wrench party, if anyone wants to go, there is supposed to be a 6 man football game in Duncanville at Christway Academy.  If you haven't seen 6 man before, this is the fastest, highest scoring football there is.  Christway has a back that got 300 yards in his last game - lightning fast!  The game is at 2:00 so if you want to go, just follow me after I lock the warehouse down.

Hey Rainmaker,

Is there a headcount, yet?  How 'bout a jack/lift adapter count?  I have one minor electrical project (blinker-buddy hookup) that won't require a jack and one (rear shock R&R) that would.

I'm gonna try and make it.  I have my LED's hooked up but not thru a relay; I haven't figured out how to do that yet and was hoping for some help.

Gonna try to make it as well. I have to replace my front brakes and numerous other maintenance items that I have been putting off for awhile. In fact you will probably have to chase me out before I get everything done. LOL     Grin

I have a jack and I have an adapter but can't find the bolts for the adapter, so that may or may not work for you.  Of course, we can use the forklift to pick up the rear end, too.

No head count yet, but I'm going to be there anyway.  We're open on Saturday.

Tom & I are going to meet somewhere in Frisco (our usual spot is the Starbucks at Gaylord & DNT) and ride together - each on our own bike  Wink.  Final spot & time (probably early) are to be determined.  I'll post when they are firm so anyone else in the NE quadrant who wants to can meet up for the trek.

Big thanks to Rainmaker for hosting, feeding, and watering us in his big new office and warehouse.

Big thanks to Rainmaker, Chuck, Tom, & Victor for helping with the shock swap and blinker-buddy hookup.  I'll never be able to forget the turn signal is on again.

Now, all I have to do is get my kidneys used to the new shocks.   Undecided

Thanks for letting us use your warehouse Mark.  Guys, I got the rest of the LED's hooked up and wired into the switch instead of being hot all of the time.  The end result would probably embarrass a real electrician but they work which is what was important.  Maybe as I get more experience I can re-do the job and make it look pretty.
