Let me just tell you not only (apparently) did we invent T.P. we do it better than the countries that have copied us.  Ive been to many countries and the T.P. situation is horrifying!!!!  The worst experience was Scotland.  When we went mountain climbing training there, one request from the scotts was to bring American T.P.  That seemed strange, but we did it anyway.  The reason was obvious right away.  Their toilet tissue was not tissue at all.  The paper was the same tensile strength and texture as a high quality magazine, just as smooth and glossy as can be........CAN YOU IMAGINE!!!!!!!


So ours is world renown as the best T.P.
