Would someone with the product be able to try it out on the pumpkin to see how it comes out? or more pictures in general would be very appreciated!

Home depot sells a drain cleaner it comes in a black bottle in a plastic bag called hair grease drain cleaner, put it on any aluminum and it will take all the coating off, only leave it on for a few min,and use gloves then you can shine to your liking,I got this from some hot rod car website,it on u tube also,it beats trying to sand or billo pad first

Ummm, interesting! I wonder if Draino or Liquid Plumber will work? The acid idea makes a lot of sense and would save a lot of work! I wish I had some old parts to experiment with. cooldude

Im willing to polish anything on the bike, but not sure what the pumpkin is.  I will polish it, unless its something more my wife might enjoy...  Smiley

but not sure what the pumpkin is.

Slang for final drive case. They were either painted or clear coated, so
polishing them down to metal is real hard work...

Here's my front wheel after using the California Custom products. I could do a MUCH better job if I pulled the wheel, which I'll do before winter. But even with the limited time I spent on it, it looks like chrome instead of aluminum. And it doesn't require a lot of elbow grease.

I'll be ordering this stuff again.

Well I found a place local that sells it so I picked some up. Got the deoxidizer and purple polish. $15 per bottle. Tried it tonite and feel its ok at best. The deoxidizer did nothing, no cleaning, no turning white, nothing. The polish turns black fast but leaves the marks and stains behind.  I did the brake lever and part of the wheel. No way does it look like chrome.  Just my two cents.

I tried the white diamond a few weeks ago didn't like the chalky residue It leaves behind then watched a few vidieos on youtube this one guy jimmy was showing how to polish truck wheels large truck gas tanks and his big jobs full size tanker trucks that look like chrome when he was done so I ordered the products he uses called Zephyr buffing kit comes with 3 bars of rouge 2 wheels and a finishing polish and a drill chuck I have a bench buffer did the first step on a front wheel I have cut all the debris off the wheel in no time need to do the next 2 steps and the finish polish a bit time consuming but very good results so far website is www.zephyrpro40.com  just view the web site it shows it all this kit was 40.00
