People who don't know how to make left turns. If the intersection is a major one, the first and second car making the left turn can pull all the way out into that intersection while oncoming traffic is approaching. Then, when able, proceed intothe turn so that 3 or 4 more cars can also make that left. Around here, the first car making the left doesn't even enter the crosswalk until all oncoming has ended. Then only 1 or 2 make it through the left.

That is one of my pet peeve's although a very minor one. I can see 7-8 feet tops but 15 feet distance is too much. What the lady did pulling in front of you would have pissed me off making me get out of the car and rapping on her window telling her she has some balls to be such a fricking idiot though.
I didn't say over....I said about a car length or less, ...... I was taught that the rule of thumb is that you should be able to see the rear tires of the car in front of you at a stop. In an SUV, you're taller and would need more room to see those rear tires than a honda civic would.

We have a center "turn lane" on Restaurant row in our town. It drives me insane when people hurry and pull "out" .."into" the turn lane , then set and wait to pull "in" to traffic...it's a freakin exit lane..not entry lane !!I actually had an idiot do this , then whip between my fat girl and the car-length between me and the guy in front of me to make a right turn.Good thing my Howitzer was in the shop that day !!Drivers these days have a "it's all about me attitude" and think everyone should look out for them !

thats the way you have to turn left here from a side road.. you have to get across the first lane into the middle where the turn lane is and then wait to get into the lane of traffic... otherwise you will sit for hours before you get a brake in traffic both ways...

This ALL happened within a 15 minute span of time. Had to go to West Plains Mo. this morning-about 25 miles one way. Two gals and one guy pulled right out in front of me and failed to accelerate. The did have a common denominator-all 3 of them had a cell phone in their ear. I'm thinking the call or calls were way MORE important than their respective lives. When I got to micky Ds the idiot in front of me must have thought by ordering something that he became the owner of the piece of floor he was standing on. One cash register open and he parks his fat dead ass right in front of it. Being a sweet loveable kinda guy I explained the error of his ways to him. He did move but rather reluctantly I thought. And then on the way home later 2 more brain dead folks doing about 45 48 M P H in a 65 M P H zone and yet AGAIN blatant cell phone abuse!! I'm going out to my shop and finish painting the triangles in the front wheels on da Phatt Ghurl. RIDE SAFE-IF the idiots driving and abusing cell phones will let you.

They came up with a dash mounted mirror that kets the driver see the traffic light. I saw one at a car show. It looked like a small shallow chrome dish in the middle of his dash. Said when he's first at a light, he can't see it due to the low roof so he looks at the mirror instead of wrenching his neck.

Being peeved - something to think about. I read through the whole thread and found that at some time or another I've been known to do a lot of the things that people get peeved about. I personally have discovered that getting peeved does a lot more damage to me, the peeved individual, than to the object of my peevedness. I'm trying to teach myself to ease off on the option to get peeved and to make excuses when I can for the other guy. After all, about half of you are below average in intelligence anyhow.

then there's the other half who are FULL OF THEMSELVES No, if half are below average it would imply the other half are above average (by definition). Did we just have an enlightening moment?
