Just had the best storm of the season roll through here! Lightning show was amazing until we got a couple hits in the neighborhood.............
Rained like we were in a hurricane or good TS there for a while! Sat out on the back porch and watched it roll through.
Hit us over here in the Eustis area about 8:30PM. Heck....that was two good light shows in one week! The other one being the Blue Rhino explosions. Wish no one would have been hurt in that one though.

We have been getting a few of those here, just wish the cotton pickin rain would go away for a while. Haven't rode the bike in a month. Had one about 3 days ago at 4 am, damnedest light show I have seen in a while. Had to laugh, our little dog is scared to death of thunder. She normally lays at the foot of the bed, when I laid back down, found the dog underneath my pillow shaking like a vibrator. I guess any shelter in a storm.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Seen a bunch of big boomers & toad stranglers up this way too.
This has been a terrible riding summer, plus all this rain is keeping the temps down.  :'(
Anyways, fall is coming hopefully with some nice hot rain-free weather perfect for riding!  Evil

Three blocks from my house a few weeks ago from a storm.

Last Monday evening we took the I/S out for a long ride and grab dinner, everything looked clear and the WC said no rain. Coming back about the last three miles from home the heavens opened up with heavy wind unreal rain and lightning that felt next to many times all this with deafening thunder that whacked us about and but good. We were soaked to the bone when safe back in the garage but smileing from ear to ear as we were in a deficit for some ride time.
