Has anyone used this?

http://www.ekmpowershop28.com/ekmps/shops/carbtune/motorcycle-colortune-11-p.asp

Looks like you can see the color of the spark inside the cylinder.

Seems like a good idea to Sync the Vacuum and then tune the Mixture.

Anybody here done the ColorTune ?

Thanks,

I found it to be useless I  couldn't see a colour variation  over 3 turns of the pilot screw.  Good idea but didn't work for me.

The carb sync is very nice though.

it works I have used it. takes time and a very dark garage to see the changes in color. not easy to use on our bikes due to the location of the idle mixture screw.
Search using your favorite search engine for David Vizard and CT. much info.

However I now just follow the carb tunning procedure on www.factorypro.com for low rpm engines.

Thanks CA,

Glad to hear it works in the right conditions.
My shop is very bright in the day time.
I'm going to assume the the factory mix setting is close enough for my needs.

Thanks for the suggestion to research David V.
Quite the career in performance tuning/timing.
