Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Well, two actually.  She just got home from work and I told her that I was kind of depressed because it was off to Bawanaland in a week.  She asked if I had any plans for next time.  I did the old, "Well, they are having this thing up in Minnesota next time, but it is a long way...Oh yeah, you remember TP and Nancy right? Well, they are having a little ride in up at the headwaters of the Mississippi."

"Have you been to Minnesota yet?" She asks.

"No."

"Go!  Have a good time and I don't mind a bit, in fact it will give you something to look forward to when you get back.  Just be sure you don't miss Ranger's BBQ."

Ya just gotta love that child bride of mine!!!  That is two road trips and I am glad that she brought up and convinced me to go to Minnesota (Since I already have a hotel room booked for Friday and Saturday up there).  2funny 2funny 2funny (Even been checking out the menu's - you know, road trip preplanning.)

ROAD TRIP BABY!!!!  Going to make the time fly by quicker over in Africa now!  And I DO love that wife of mine....

I don't know about JP yet, but I was doing some of the road trip pre planning stuff (ya know, checking out all the menu links that TP posted) and they got Walleye on the menu.  I checked em out and man, that fish got some teeth yeah! Shocked Shocked  I don't reckon you throw your thumb in that mouth....I may just have to try me some of that there walleye fish I reckon!

I hear they got big un's up there too - like this one they got mounted......

I'll see ya'll up yonder.  I won't get back from Africa until Monday before the gig up there, so not sure what day I will be rolling in.  I think TP may have me talked into rolling out the day after I get in....

Man, all the food up there looks good!!!  They sure got some Cajun stuff on those menues...... OH YEAH BABY, ride up about 1500 miles to eat some Cajun food in Minnesota.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I know it is going to be a blast - can't wait, can't wait, can't wait......  I sure have liked everybody from Minnesota that I have met thus far!!!!  cooldude

And yes, I did talk to JP this evening......  Don't know, but I do have a double room at ground zero up yonder!

I gotta try some of that Walleye.......... Man, this is giving me something to look forward to on my next trip home and this is going to be a good-un!!!!!

Hey Warren,
Are you using your Iway 600c GPS? It seems I remember you buying one last year. If so, what do you think of it? I have one, but the jury is still out on whether I like it or not.
Later,
Tom in Lynchburg, VA
PS.....Joanne and I loved reading your ride reports. We looked forward to them every day!

Sorry - never owned a GPS.  I stop at state welcome centers and get a map.  Also carry an atlas in my bag.
