I bought my '01 with from a guy that had spent quite a bit on Kuryakyn bling.  As this stuff ages I have been taking it off and not replacing it.  Today however, the end of the grip on the right side broke off about 2" from the tip.  Not earth shattering, I can still ride but the grip really needs to be replaced.  I do not mind the look and feel of the Honda stock grips but the dealer wanted $30 each for them.  That seemed steep and I am hoping for some recommendations for another source for stock replacements (or something similar).  I can probably re-use the original throttle tube with a little clean up.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanx, G

I just looked over at HDL, that's near the right price... just a few dollars
higher at the dealer...

I got rid of the chrome grips on my bike and replaced them with OEM,
I really like them...

I also like the stock grips, I have rather small hands, do not like the Kurys.  Hoser

They look good but haven't installed them yet.

ProOne grips come with a Honda-compatible throttle sleeve.  I've got these on both of my Valks:

I may have a set of OEM grips that I would trade you for the remaining good Kury grip.

I hope you find that information helpful.

I'm pretty sure I can get the left hand grip off in one piece but like all Kury parts, it has some corrosion on it.  I live in a beach town and things corrode easily around here.  If you are really interested I'll send you a PIC.

Sure.  I'm easy to get along with.
