Hard bag seals, and grommets
«

Hi all,
Does anyone know where to get saddlebag seals and mounting grommets other than from OEM Honda. They are really expensive.
I am trying to put together a set of Interstate hard bags, and all I need is the rubber grommets with the metal washers, and seals.
Going through Honda it would be in excess of $150.00.
Thanks for any help

Have you tried Servicehonda or Honda Directline or Dennis Kirk for lower prices for OEM parts? They usually have the same parts fische as your local Honda dealer and you can save some $$.

Thanks Thunderolt,
I have looked at most of those sites, and the savings are minimal.
Example, seals from Honda $22.00, and around $18.00 from some of the cheaper sites.I may have to just bite the bullet and pay the price.
Thanks

If your talking about the rubber washer with the spacer in the middle,I've gotten them at a hardware store or fastener store for the rubber and then cut a piece of small pipe (metal brake line) for the spacer

Remove one of the grommets and one of the bag seals and take them to local hardware, automotive, rv and marine suppliers. You could get lucky. I got the four IS windshield rubbers at Home Hardware for .29 each as opposed to $14. from Honda, who didn't have them.
