InZane 2010

I am new to the club so don't know much about InZane. Can't get off work this year. When and how is the date & location chosen for next year. I have to put in for Vac. time in Dec. for next year. Would like to go.

scoobydoo I feel your pain I was in that situation last year. I think they will announce the dates not to long after InZane IX. Last year, it was quite a while before we knew where it was located though, in fact I think it was early this year before we knew for sure. Builds the excitement and anticipation. Just reading the board it sounds like quite a few InZanes occur in Johnson City, Tenn. Welcome to a great bunch of people!

First three were in Zanesville, OH (thus the name INZANE!)
Next two were in Paducha, KY
Next one was in Frisco/Dillon, CO
Next two were in Johnson City, TN
Now back to Frisco/Dillon, CO....

It takes a while to figure out WHERE it will be....much scouting and coordinating and checking....ESPECIALLY the years it gets moved to a new location! Lots of work to do when it is moved to a new area.....so that delays the announcement typically....until things get locked down enough to be sure the location will work out!

hopefully NEXT year...where ever it is....I'll be going again. I HAD made ALL of them....all 8....until THIS year....the 9th one. Hopefully, next year i can start another string of 8 or more straight..............

Thanks for the input. I have been involved with outings myself and know how much work a FEW put in. Think the date will be set before Dec?

I'm hoping date and aprox location are set before November 1st. Thats when I have to submit mine.

We generally announce the dates and approximate location early in December (a lot of us have to put in our vac. requests by the end of December).  
Because of negotiations with hotels, the exact city/hotel is a bit later.

Capt Morgan, we will try to remember that you need to know by Nov 1.  Remind us a couple weeks before you need to know... and we'll try to get enough info out for you to make the "correct" decision!
