It's that time again.  We'll be meeting for our monthly dinner.  It's the southern side's turn, so we'll be at:
Sudie's Seafood House
352 N. Gulf Freeway
League City, Texas 77573
Phone: 281.338.5100

From downtown, take 45 southbound, exit at 518, u-turn, and it's on the northbound feeder.
One of my friends from the Nun Run will be stopping by to talk to us about that charity ride coming up in October, and we may have a few other topics to discuss.

See ya'll at 7:30 Thursday, September 19.

The fork tool?  Yep, got one.  I can see about having it delivered to the meeting if you like.

If you're talking about an email you received earlier today about them being in Manila, etc...
I didn't really read it, but I could probably quote it verbatim.  I've received the same scam message from other hacking victims.  Someone gets access to their email and sends out a sob story hoping someone will wire the perpetrator cash.  I've seen posts from them recently, and they didn't mention being out of town, much less Manila, and no mention of troubles.
My advice:  Ignore it unless you have corroboration.  They're probably having trouble getting into their email right now to undo the damage, if it's following the normal pattern.

So, to get back on topic:  We'll discuss meetup plans for the Meet in the Middle ride Saturday, and rough ideas for next month's Hill Country ride.

They have us down for a reservation.  Ask for the VRCC table.

Oh, and:  BUMP!

Right now I am hoping to make it.  Been feeling puny all week.  Today is almost back to normal.
